A Legacy of Service

Welcome To District 13, Division 03

As a part of U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary District Thirteen, Division 3 provides administrative, training, communication and supervisory support to four flotillas which proudly serve the South Puget Sound from Des Moines to Chehalis Washington.

While Division 3 does not directly provide services to the general public, each of our flotillas provides boating education classes, vessel safety checks and much more.

Division 3 flotillas assist the U.S. Coast Guard in non-law enforcement programs such as safety patrols, search and rescue, and marine environmental protection.

During the 2006 boating season, the four Division 3 flotillas, consisting of 154 Auxiliarists performed 127 Vessel Safety Checks; conducted 738 hours of Boating Safety Education; participated in 136 hours of Search and Rescue and engaged in 2,902 hours of Safety and Regatta Patrols.

If you are interested in recreational boating safety and would like more information about our programs, or even becoming a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, you may contact us and we will refer your inquiry to the appropriate flotilla, or you may contact one of our flotillas directly.
